Best Gaming Headset Under $50, We Three Kings

If you are on a budget then you are going to be looking for the best gaming headset for under $50 dollars. This price range allows you to get a good piece of gear, with the features you want, but without breaking the bank. In the interest of variety I will list a few different options giving my opinions of each individual headset. These won’t be the only options out there but I think you will fare pretty well with any of them.

So without further ado let’s take a look at some of the…

Best Gaming Headsets for Under $50

Sentey Gs-4730 / Gs-4731 Gaming Headset$50 gaming headset

Product: Sentey GS-4730 7.1 Digital Surround Sound Gaming Headset with In-line Control and Mic (Black)

Price: $39.99

Cheapest Place to Buy:

The Sentey Gs-4730 is one of the best looking in it’s class. Of course this is my opinion but if you agree with me then you will love the robust and industrial look this headset is rocking. It isn’t real flashy or overdone like a lot of the other ones you will see. I really dig the black metal with red LED accents.

If you haven’t heard of Sentey that is OK but they have been around for about 15 years of so now. They specialize in crafting gaming peripherals, power supplies and even PC gaming cases on the cheap.

As far as performance goes you really get a lot out of your $40 spent. This headset features crisp 7.1 digital surround sound, a clear and adjustable microphone and the comfort to wear these for hours during a long gaming session.

If you have fifty bucks and are looking for a new headset then I say spend the forty and get these bad boys. Make sure you check out the GS-4731 as well for a whiteout theme.

Sades A60 Gaming Headset budget gaming headset

Product: SADES A60 7.1 USB Surround Sound Stereo Over-the-Ear Gaming Headset with Mic Bass, Vibration, Noise-Canceling, Volume Control for PC (White)

Price: $49.99

Cheapest Place to Buy:

The Sades A60’s are a pretty sick headset that come in either white / baby blue or black / baby blue combination. They sport a more modern futuristic design that looks very good.

This headset is basically the top of the line you can get in the under $50 budget range. The A60 features 7.1 Surround sound, noise canceling, volume remote and a built in microphone. Having a mic being built in is a nice feature however some may prefer a fully external version. The complete “over the ear” ear pads really help in comfort while wearing your headset for prolonged periods of time.

One nifty feature that comes with the Sades A60 is that they are capable of vibrating giving you an even more immersive experience while gaming. If you are a console gamer now not only will your controller vibrate but it will in tandem with your headset.

Like I said before this headset basically comes with everything you could wish for and more for fifty bucks. Sades is not one of your typical name brands like Astro or Turtle Beach and likely comes from over seas if you are living in the U.S.. This is why they can provide you with such a great gaming headset for less then half of what a similar name brand model would cost.

Sades SA 708 Gaming Headsetcheap gaming headset for under $50 dollars

Product: Gaming Headset Sades Sa708 Stereo Blue Gaming Headphone with Microphone for Pc Computer * With Retail Gift Box

Price: $16.99

Cheapest Place to Buy:

Here we have another Sades Headset with the SA 708. This set is a kind of in a different category then the other two listed but I thought I should list it because there really is a lot of value.

Let us take a look at some of the features here. First of all these are a stereo set meaning 2.1 sound. There is a nice ear pad however it does not fit completely over your ear. Some may be able to wear these for hours and hours no problem but for others it may become uncomfortable after a lot of wear. The SA 708 does come with a microphone so you can communicate with your team in game and a volume control with mute button.

With the SA 708’s being under $20 you could call it an ultra budget gaming headset. No, they don’t hold up to the other two on this list or other higher end headsets but you will be hard pressed to find another headset like this for $16.99.

I think if you are fairly low on cash at the moment or need a backup pair or two then this Sades headset would be a great addition to your gaming arsenal.

Which Gaming Headset Should I buy For Under $50?

Of course if you are on a super tight budget then the Sades SA 708 would be a great option and you wont likely find a better headset for under $20. BUT getting closer to the $50 mark have your pick of the Sades A60 or Sentey GS-4730.

In my humble opinion I will say, unless you really want noise canceling, to go with the Sentey GS-4730. It is my belief that they are the best gaming headset for under $50 here.

Sturdy, comfortable and affordable the GS-4730 is the full package and I think you will be stoked if you pick up a set for yourself. Like I’ve said before these guys wont hang with the name brand $200+ headsets but for under fifty dollars they do just fine. On top of all this they get amazing reviews on Amazon with a 4.5 star rating at over 1,000 customer reviews.

I have to be honest here and say that I am not really a gamer.

I appreciate all this gear that is available though and this headset looks like a really good piece of equipment. I can see also that the prices have really come down from what they used to be.

However, I say I am not a gamer, but I am a lover of Flight Simulator 10 and I do play this online.

Can you advise me what kind of headset would be best suitable for this?

      Hi Chris,

These headsets really can be used for any purpose of course. Gaming, music, movies, flight sim ect. I would still reccommend the Sentey Gaming Headset out of the bunch for your needs. Let me know if I can help with anything further.
