Good Cheap Gaming Mouse Under $15, A Top 5 List

It is not as hard to find a good and cheap gaming mouse for under $15 as it used to be. In fact there are many options out there flooding the market so in this top 5 list I will be point you towards some great options. A gaming mouse is a very important tool to the PC gamer. It is your digital sword so to speak. Keep in mind that all of these will be work for entry level daily driver mice but we will start with #5 and head towards my #1 top pick.

#5 HAVIT HV-MS672 Gaming Mouse Under $15budget gaming mouse

Model: HAVIT HV-MS672 Ergonomic LED Wired Mouse

Price: $9.99

Best place to buy:

First on the list is this 6 button HAVIT HV-MS672 gaming mouse which actually comes in at the cheap price of under $10. It will switch between 7 different LED colors while the mouse is in use with the only downfall being that you can not set it to one specific color. So if you are a control freak this may be an issue.

There is the option however to move between 4 different DPI settings on the fly through the use of the top middle button including 800, 1200, 1600 and 2400DPI. While this pick may not be the best gaming mouse ever it will do the job and prove to be a good budget pick. If you follow any of the Amazon links above (click the picture of the mouse) you will see that this mouse achieved 4 star great customer reviews overall.

#4 E-3lue Cobra Gaming Mouse Under $15gaming mouse under $15

Model: E-3lue Cobra EMS109BK High Precision Gaming Mouse

Price: $9.99

Best place to buy:

This E-3lue or “E Blue” optical gaming mouse is next on the list for my budget picks. The Cobra is a 6 button mouse including left and right click, scroll button, DPI change top button and two side buttons. The mouse displays a nice blue LED light. This mouse has the capibilites to switch between a few different DPI settings with a top end of 1600DPI. Click here if you would like to check out an article I wrote about it for further detail.

It also received 4 star customer reviews on Amazon and while it costs around the same price as my #5 pick I ranked it higher for a couple of reasons. I realize this mouse has a lower top end for DPI but here’s the thing. I have used the cobra a lot for triple a titles, League of Legends and even Call of Duty. I can tell you right now that unless you are real serious into the first person shooter games then you wont be needing a real high DPI mouse anyways. I really like the way the Cobra feels in my hand and it is very sleek and minimalistic. Overall I can certainly recommend this mouse for the money.

#3 Jeecoo Zelotes T80NEW Gaming Mouse Under $15Cheap Gaming Mouse

Model: Jeecoo Zelotes T80NEW 7200 DPI Optical Gaming Mouse

Price: $9.99

Best place to buy:

Coming in at number 3 is the Jeecoo Zelotes budget gaming mouse. It is a 7 button mouse with a adjustable DPI of up to 7200 and nice color change LED lighting. This may be your mouse of choice if you are looking for a cheap first person shooter mouse due to the high cap DPI. For me this mouse is a bit bulky in design and appearance but it has received a very high 4.5 star Amazon customer review rating which may tilt you in favor of picking this piece of hardware up. Click the picture of the mouse above to see what others had to say about it.

#2 TeckNet Raptor Gaming Mouse Under $15good cheap gaming mice

Model: TeckNet Raptor Gaming Mouse, 2000 DPI, 6 Button, Extra Weight

Price: $8.99

Best place to buy:

Today’s runner up is the TeckNet Raptor optical gaming mouse. It is another 6 button design which features a heavier feel to aid in gaming, sleek-clean look, comfortable feel and up to 2000 adjustable DPI in 600, 1200 and of course 2000. I really like the cleaner industrial look which is reminiscent of the E-3lue listed above but the Raptor definitely looks to be a distant cousin to the more expensive Logitech g300s. Of course the Raptor doesn’t have the same button pattern but there is some similarity. This mouse comes in at number 2 on my list partly due to it’s simplicity but also because it is the least expensive and also has a 4.5 star Amazon rating after nearly 500 reviews. The mouse has been well received as an inexpensive gaming option.

#1 Redragon M601 CENTROPHORUS Gaming Mouse Under $15good cheap gaming mouse

Model: Redragon M601 CENTROPHORUS-2000 DPI Gaming Mouse for PC, 6 Buttons, Weight Tuning Set, Omron Micro Switches

Price: $13.99

Best place to buy:

It would be hard not to put this mouse at number one in the budget gaming mice under $15 category. The Redragon M601 has the looks, ergonomics, feel and adjustability that you will want out of your gaming mouse. With an Amazon customer rating over 4.5 after a whopping 3,900 reviews and counting you will be hard pressed to bet against this PC peripheral.

Redragon m601

The Centrophorus comes with nice side grips so you don’t lose control during useage, a typical 6 button design, Omron micro switches, adjustable up to 2000DPI and above all weights that you can add and subtract depending on your own preferences. That is right. Weights in your mouse!

I think above all you want to know that something you buy is worth the money and going to last you for a reasonable amount of time. Checking the customer reviews of the Redragon M601 Centrophorus will tell you that this mouse is certainly worth buying.

Good, cheap and under the $15 budget was the quest today for our gaming mouse. Like I said before any of these will be great options for you in my opinion but I listed them in what I thought to be the best order. Sure you can spend a lot more money on a mouse such as the Razer Naga (actually a really good MMO option) but if you are looking for an inexpensive entry level mouse, backup or are just low on cash then you have your pick of options listed above. Of course if I had to pick just one then the Redragon M601 Centrophorus would be the one.

Thanks for these suggestions. E-3lue Cobra is the one I prefer. I like it’s clean style visual look and it’s also wisely designed with the 2 side button located just under the hand’s lower palm part. A simple wrist movement to press the buttons. I never used it but hope it is sensitive enough so you don’t need to press to firmly like some poorly designed mouses I’ve had before. It’s worth trying for the price anyways!

      Hello there Carolyn,

Very nice choice with the Cobra! Although all of these mice are pretty great options for the money, the Cobra does have it’s advantages. I too like the clean lines and simplicity of the mouse and the one I bought has lasted for years. Thanks for taking the time to comment I really love it when people do!

    Hi Anthony

You have written an amazing review of these gaming mouses. Forgive me but I do not totally understand the techy aspects about gaming. But my son however is gaming bad! He sleeps and breaths his games.

I know he would love these. But given I don’t really know the best features can you please give me some advice as to which two are the best? That’s as far as my knowledge goes lol.

    Thank you kindly

      Hey there Michelle,

I would say get the E-3Lue Cobra or the Redragon m601. I know I put the Cobra in 4th place but I really like it my self and it is the most clean looking of the 5 mice. I think your son will do well with either of those picks. Thank you for commenting and let me know if you need anything else.
